Gabrisnote® "1000 takk Norge" Jørgen Moe 2026

This Gabrisnote® from the "1,000 Thanks to Norway" series pays tribute to the Norwegian poet, theologian and Romantic philologist Jørgen Moe, who became famous for his collection of Norwegian folk tales, which he compiled together with Peter Christen Asbjørnsen. This Gabrisnote® is part of a wider project that aims to create a more extensive series reflecting the rich history and culture of Norway and the whole of Scandinavia. It comes from a test series of Gabrisnote® that we, as a publishing house, prepared for clients as a sample. This series of ‘test’ notes naturally has a very limited print run. It is an exploration of compositions, themes and potential uses for Gabrisnote® as a medium straddling the line between ‘souvenir’ and ‘art’ for local museums and other cultural institutions.
