Gabrisnote® "1000 takk Norge" Christian Michelsen 2026

This Gabrisnote® from the "1000 takk Norge" series pays tribute to Christian Michelsen – the first Prime Minister of independent Norway. This Gabrisnote® is part of a wider project that aims to create a more extensive series reflecting the rich history and culture of Norway and the whole of Scandinavia.

It comes from a test series of Gabrisnote® that we, as a publisher, have prepared for clients as a sample. This ‘test’ series therefore, understandably, has a very limited print run. It is an exploration of compositions, themes and possible uses of Gabrisnote® as a medium straddling the line between ‘souvenir’ and ‘art’ for local museums and other cultural institutions.

1000 takk Norge. Dimensions 150 x 74 mm, main motif: Christian Michelsen (1857–1925) / Fantoft wooden church in Bergen.
